Front-End Developer
Front-End Developer: Responsible for designing and building features for multiple websites across several key clients. Must be proficient with both PHP and CSS.
Tasks:
- Design and build functionality and features into our key sites
- Gather requirements and build tools for staff to update and manage our sites
- Provide consulting services to our clients and staff
- Track and analyze new technologies and tools for our clients and staff
Professional requirements:
- Five years+ experience using PHP 5 and OOD
- Solid track record supporting a large team and complicated applications
- Well-versed in MVC
- Hands-on experience with SQL (MySQL/MS SQL)
- Familiarity with LAMP stack
- Experience with Scrum/Agile Development
- Experience with open source CMS
- Experience building websites from the ground up
Formal requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology
